PETALING JAYA: The 2024 Cisco Cybersecurity Readiness Index rated only 2% of Malaysian companies at a 'Mature' level of readiness, the highest attainable rating, to counter cybersecurity risks.

With small and medium enterprises (SMEs) making up 97% of businesses in Malaysia, it is very likely that many are still inadequately equipped in cybersecurity safety.
