No to violence: Faisal Halim discharged from hospital, to continue treatment at home


PETALING JAYA: National winger Faisal Halim has been discharged from the hospital in Shah Alam.

The 26-year-old had been in treatment since May 5, and left the Avisena Hospital on Saturday (May 25) afternoon.

He will continue undergoing treatment, rehabilitation and psychological treatment at his residence, which has not been disclosed.

"We believe it is best for him to be with his loved ones during this process. We will monitor him constantly to ensure his return to the game is done well," said Selangor FC board member Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar.

Faisal suffered fourth degree burns after he was splashed with sulfuric acid by two unknown assailants on May 5 at a shopping centre in Damansara.
