A MAN in India, who stole three cellphones and tried to seek sexual favours for the return of the gadgets, got trapped and beaten up by the women instead, Malaysia Nanban reported.
The man, identified as Sudhagar, 36, from Tamil Nadu, noticed three women who had moved into his neighbourhood in Chengalpattu for work.
He began stalking them and found that they liked to sleep on the terraced roof of their rented house because it was cooler there.
One night, he snuck up to the roof and took their phones and other items while they were asleep.
When the women realised their items had been stolen they called one of the phones and Sudhagar answered demanding they meet with him for sexual trysts.
The women played along, while at the same time colluding with men in the area to lay a trap for the thief.
When Sudhagar turned up, thinking his plan had worked, he was caught by the three women and their friends, who tied him up and beat him before surrendering him to the police.
