Kg Baru stall damaged by falling tree


KUALA LUMPUR: Another tree has fallen in the city following bad weather in the afternoon, damaging a stall in Kampung Baru here.

In a statement, the city Fire and Rescue Department said a distress call was received at 2.38pm on Tuesday (June 4).

A team was dispatched to the scene and confirmed the damage.

“No victims were involved.

"The tree fell on private property and the owner has opted to use outside contractors to clean up the area,” the statement read.
