PETALING JAYA: The lawyer representing the parents of murdered autistic boy Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin has withdrawn from the case.

Sinar Harian reported that he said on Tuesday (June 4) that he has withdrawn his representation due to certain specific factors.

This comes after the parents of the six-year-old Zayn Rayyan were remanded for seven days from last Saturday (June 1) to assist the police investigation under Section 302 of the Penal code.

Zayn Rayyan's parents had been arrested at Puncak Alam at about 11am on Friday (May 31).
