Lady robbed after ‘delivery man’ ruse

A WOMAN in Seremban was robbed of her valuables by a man pretending to be a delivery man, Makkal Osai reported.

Leela Sababathi was alone at her home in Seremban Jaya when the supposed delivery man came to deliver a letter and asked her to produce her IC for verification.

When she returned with the IC and opened the gate, the man barged in and demanded she hand over her jewellery and any cash on her. The shocked woman handed over gold jewellery and about RM300 in cash. The man then escaped on his bike.
