FANS of Jay Chou are up in arms after many of them failed to get tickets to the Taiwanese superstar’s upcoming concert in Malaysia in October despite joining the queue using multiple devices, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Tickets to the Carnival World Tour at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Oct 26 were released for sale beginning 11am on Tuesday.

However, many fans complained that they were unable to get even a single ticket from the official website despite waiting in line for three to four hours.

“Waited for two hours and managed to select seats. However, the website timed out before I could buy and kicked me out of the queue,” a disappointed fan said.

Others took to the ticket-selling website’s social media accounts to vent their frustrations over the queue management system.

“The ticketing system is rubbish. Queued since 10am. Managed to get in once at noon and another time at 1.15pm.

“No matter which seat I picked, it always showed ‘seat unavailable’ before kicking me out of the queue. I am speechless,” one fan bristled.

Official tickets for the concert are priced between RM388 and RM1,138.

> Taiwanese Internet celebrity Ili Cheng made a teary apology for being a “bad neighbour” after she was caught on CCTV tearing down notices in her apartment building, Sin Chew Daily also reported.

“My personal habits have caused everyone trouble. I have reflected on my actions and promise not to repeat them,” she said recently.

The 33-year-old, who bought the apartment in Taipei’s Xinyi Road nine years ago, was captured on CCTV tearing down notices announcing that she owed more than T$49,000 (RM7,120) in management fees.

Cheng’s manager apologised on her behalf, explaining that the celebrity was travelling for work most of the time and neglected her administrative responsibilities.
