SYASYA Rizal, a former member of the girl group Dolla, reportedly received sponsorships exceeding RM5mil at her wedding reception with husband Nasrullah Mohd Sapie on Saturday night.

Syasya’s mother, Farah Farina Abd Razak – also known as Riena – said her daughter’s jewellery and accessories were sponsored by a renowned brand, Berita Harian reported.

“For Syasya, the brand sponsored jewellery worth RM5mil, and for me, it was RM500,000. We also received sponsorships from several other brands at the same time,” she said at the reception.

Farah said the large number of guests necessitated holding the reception in two sessions, one during the day and one at night.

“We had a day session for fans, family and friends and an evening session for other guests because we couldn’t find a big enough hall.

“I’m grateful for all the sponsorships, even though I can’t name every one of them,” she said.

Commenting on her son-in-law, Farah said: “Nasrullah is a good person from a respectable family. He respects elders and knows how to win Syasya’s heart and the family’s too. That’s why Syasya fell deeply in love and was willing to leave behind her artistic career.”

The couple, who tied the knot officially on April 20, wore light blue outfits and celebrated the occasion with more than 1,000 guests.

On March 8, Dolla announced Syasya’s departure via their official social media accounts, which left many fans disappointed.

> Celebrity couple Aeril Zafrel and Wawa Zainal were taken aback when they discovered the remarkable acting abilities of their young daughter, Hayla Maghfiratul Adzkiyaa, who is only eight years old.

Despite lacking in experience, Aeril said Hayla delivered an impressive performance in the film Abnormal Buas, which is set to hit theatres on June 20.

“We were shocked at how Hayla demonstrated good acting skills and appeared comfortable in front of the camera.

“Therefore, we decided to send her to acting classes before she started filming Buas. We were impressed with her natural performance and hope the audience will enjoy it too,” he said in a Harian Metro report.

Aeril shared a scene from the filming where Adlin Aman Ramlie choked Hayla, causing her to become frightened.

“There was a scene where Adlin had to pretend to choke Hayla but she suddenly cried because she was scared.

“She was unfamiliar with Adlin, and the sudden grab made her feel uneasy.

“She still did the scene well but she might still be scared if there are more scenes with Adlin,” he said.

Abnormal Buas, produced by Respected Citizen, also stars Kodi Rasheed, Jalil Hamid, Datuk Ahmad Tarmimi Siregar, Shaheizy Sam and Nabila Huda.
