PETALING JAYA: The mother of murdered autistic boy Zayn Rayyan Abdul Mateen has been brought to her home at Idaman Apartment in Damansara Damai on Monday (June 9).
The visit is believed to be for the purpose of re-enacting the circumstances of Zayn Rayyan's disappearance until his body was found on Dec 6 last year.

Zayn Rayyan's parents are currently on a six-day remand extension to assist with investigations.
The couple was initially remanded for seven days from June 1 to assist the police investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
Zayn Rayyan's parents had been arrested at Puncak Alam at about 11am on Friday (May 31).

On Dec 5 last year, six-year-old Zayn Rayyan was reported missing in Damansara Damai and his body was found near a stream about 200m from his home at the Idaman Apartment the next day.
A post-mortem revealed injuries to his neck and body, leading to the conclusion that he had been killed.
