Application status check for public unis, polytechnics, colleges begins June 28

PETALING JAYA: Students with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results who applied for entry into public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutions (ILKA) can check their application status from June 28 to July 7.

This involves those who have applied for certificates, foundation and diploma courses for the 2024/2025 academic sessions.

They can check via the official websites of the respective institutions at https://jpt.utm.my, https://jpt.uum.edu.my, https://jpt.unimas.my, https://jpt.ums.edu.my, and http://jpt.umt.edu.my.

Students may also check their status via the Mobile UPUPocket mobile application.

All successful candidates will have to accept the offer between June 29 to July 7.

Offer letters will be issued by the respective institutions on June 29 after the candidate has accepted the offer, and only those who failed to obtain any offer to public universities and polytechnics or are offered certificate courses are allowed to appeal via UPUOnline.

Appeals can be made at http://upu.mohe.gov.my before the July 7 deadline, and appeals for community colleges and ILKA can be forwarded directly to the relevant institution without going through UPUOnline.

All offers made are final. No changing of courses within the institution or between institutions are allowed.

The appeal selection policy is subject to the availability of spots offered according to the programme of study after the new student registration is complete.

For more information, call the IPTA student admission division at 03–8684 2363 or email upu@mohe.gov.my.
