Bhutan King meets Malaysia's monarch at Johor Palace


JOHOR BARU: Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck has paid a royal visit to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.

Photos of the courtesy call were shared on Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim’s Facebook page on Saturday (June 22).

The posts said Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Ismail received an audience with the Bhutan King at the Bukit Serene Palace here.

Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim was also present.

“The King of Bhutan also attended a luncheon with His Majesty King of Malaysia and Regent of Johor,” the post read.
