15,000 visit Great Outdoor Expo

SHAH ALAM: The Great Outdoor Expo 2024, held at Setia City Convention Centre, concluded with a resounding success, attracting more than 15,000 visitors over three action-packed days.

Organised by Star Media Group, this year’s expo was a vibrant showcase of the latest trends and innovations in outdoor living, camping and adventure sports. With a plethora of engaging activities, product demonstrations, and special showcases, the event provided an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Hyundai, the official EV for the event, drew attention with their innovative camping concept featuring the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 models.

These vehicles, equipped with the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, demonstrated how campers could enjoy the great outdoors without sacrificing the convenience of electric home appliances.

Hyundai’s presentation highlighted the seamless integration of modern technology and nature, showcasing a new frontier in eco-friendly camping.

Bluetti showed off its wide range of mobile power stations, emphasising the importance of reliable power solutions for outdoor enthusiasts.

The displays offered insights into how portable power can enhance camping experiences, making it easier for adventurers to stay connected and powered up in remote locations.

TCE Tackles Sdn Bhd, which caters to the avid fishing community, received great response, with its booth thronged by fishing enthusiasts to look at the latest gear and innovations.

This year’s expo marked a new high for TCE Tackles, solidifying their position as a leading name in the fishing industry.

Visitors had the chance to test drive the latest Suzuki Jimny models, courtesy of Naza Eastern Sdn Bhd.

Suzuki’s participation added a dynamic and interactive element to the expo, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Another crowd favourite was MyChef’s promotion of their one-minute meal kits. Designed for convenience and nutrition, these meals resonated well with the camping community.

MyChef’s offerings received widespread acclaim for their ease of preparation and delicious flavours, making them a must-have for future camping trips.

Teguh’s display of its most recent glamping tent collection was a standout for those interested in the activity.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore luxurious and comfortable camping solutions, sparking interest in glamping as a viable business venture.

Sunshine RV’s display of its custom-built motorhomes provided a glimpse into a mobile and comfortable lifestyle.

Meanwhile, Kawasaki showcased its versatile Versys motorcycle series and jetskis, appealing to thrill-seekers and adventure lovers alike.

Original Footwear also attracted attention with its latest product line-up, catering to the needs of outdoor and tactical enthusiasts.

Adding to the thrill of the event was a drifting performance by Zen Low, Malaysia’s own professional GT racer and drifter. His exhilarating display of precision driving captivated the audience, adding an electrifying edge to the expo and highlighting the dynamic nature of outdoor sports.

The TGO Fun Run, co-organised by Star Media Group and JomRun, attracted more than 2,000 participants. This energetic and vibrant run added a lively dynamic to the expo, bringing together fitness enthusiasts and casual runners alike.
