Dr Wee thanks Home Ministry for opening counters at Parliament lobby

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has praised the Home Ministry for opening counters at the Parliament lobby to allow Members of Parliament to address citizenship matters directly.

“Thank you to the Home Minister and the Home Ministry team for opening counters at the Parliament lobby.

“This facilitates the direct dealings of MPs with the ministry's team, including its agencies, to solve related issues for the people,” he said in a Facebook post on Thursday (June 27).

The Ayer Hitam MP said he has submitted a total of 37 applications that involve citizenship status.

The MCA president said he also welcomed a visit from the TAR UMT community to Parliament today.

“Here’s wishing them success in the future, especially in their service to the society and contribution to national development.

“Before that, I also bumped into my friend, Pak Tam, the owner of a restaurant. There's no denying that Pak Tam's cooking is indeed delicious! I especially love his curry," said Dr Wee.
