Indian High Commission announces free 30-day eTourist visa for Malaysians

PETALING JAYA: Malaysians will be granted a 30-day eTourist visa at no cost from July 1 to June 30, 2025, announces the Indian High Commission to Malaysia.

It said that while the eTourist visa with double entry would have no fees, applicants must pay visa fees as prescribed.

Those applying for the eMedical Attendant, eAyush, and eEmergency visas must also pay visa fees.

“Existing rules regarding eTourist visa and other eVisas would continue to apply.

“Those who wish to obtain normal paper visas from an outsource provider or the High Commission of India will continue to pay the prescribed visa fees,” it said in a statement issued on Saturday (June 29).

The 30-day eTourist visa can be applied online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html.

Malaysia has given visitors from India 30 days of visa-free travel from Dec 1, 2023.
