India offers Malaysians free 30-day eTourist visa

PETALING JAYA: Malaysians will be granted a 30-day eTourist visa at no cost from July 1 to June 30, 2025, the Indian High Commission to Malaysia announced.

It said that while the eTourist visa with double entry would have no fees, for all other eVisa categories, applicants will be required to pay visa fees.

This includes those applying for eBusiness, eConference, eMedical, eMedical Attendant, eAyush and eEmergency visas.

“Existing rules regarding eTourist visa and other eVisas would continue to apply.

“Those who wish to obtain normal paper visas from outsource provider IVS Global Visa Centre or the High Commission of India will continue to pay the prescribed visa fees,” it said in a statement.

The 30-day eTourist visa can be applied online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html.

Malaysia has given visitors from India 30 days of visa-free travel from Dec 1, 2023.
