Sg Bakap Polls: Perikatan releases five-point manifesto

NIBONG TEBAL: Perikatan Nasional has released its manifesto for Sungai Bakap, which focuses on five key areas.

The five key areas are: serving the people; economic growth and job opportunities; better infrastructure; prioritising people's voices and serving with trust and integrity.

"The keyword here is 'Kerja' (Work), and we are determined to carry out our promises although we do not have any funding," said Penang PAS chief Muhammad Fauzi Yusoff at a press conference at the Perikatan Sungai Bakap operations centre in Jawi on Tuesday (July 2). Perikatan Sungai Bakap candidate Abidin Ismail was also in attendance.

Muhammad Fauzi said PAS was able to carry out many of its programmes as people are willing to support and fund their efforts.

"Much of what is in our manifesto is presently ongoing as (the late Sg Bakap assemblyman) Nor Zambri Latiff began work 10 months ago when he won the seat last year.
