A WOMAN in Laos decided on Mr Right when she discovered his place had air conditioning, Sin Chew Daily reported.

“The weather was too hot. I wanted to enjoy air conditioning. That was why I married him!” the unidentified woman quipped.

Her Chinese national husband is an online content creator known as Teacher Lin.

Lin married his Laotian wife, who is 14 years his junior, last year.

Since getting married, the couple would often post vlogs of their new life on YouTube.

In a recent episode, the woman was asked why she chose to marry him.

When she spoke about the air-condition, Lin was seen pouting.

He then asked whether she was in love with him.

“I love you! But it is better if there is air conditioning,” the wife said cheekily.

> The disappearance of 10 guard dogs at a durian orchard in Bentong, Pahang, set alarm bells ringing that a panther could be prowling in the area, the daily also reported.

The orchard owner, whose surname was Lu, said that all his 10 dogs went missing last week.

One of them was found dead with injuries indicating that it could have been mauled by a large animal.

Paw prints in the mud taken by Lu nearby suggested that it could be a panther.

Telemong village head Ma Gui Cai said they were uncertain about the animal which attacked the dogs.

A report had been lodged to the police, he said.

It was reported that authorities had set up a bait to capture the animal.
