Hong Kong actor gushes over Malaysian durian

WHEN it comes to durian, Hong Kong actor Francis Ng Chun-yu only wants the King of Fruits from Malaysia.

Sin Chew Daily reported that the celebrity would not eat durian from any other country.

He had tasted local durianswhile he was shooting the movie A Place Called Silence in Penang.

During a promotional roadshow in Beijing recently, Ng expressed his love for Penang while sharing his filming experience on the island in February.

“You must go there to eat durian. It’s so tasty. Once you have tried it, you would not want to taste durian from anywhere else in the world.

“Now, I just wish I could fly there to eat durian again,” he told the audience.

At another event in Xian city later, Ng was overjoyed when a fan gifted him a Musang King durian.

“Let’s open it right here,” he said.

> Four travellers were stranded at an airport lounge in China after their Shanghai Airlines flight departed without them, China Press reported.

“Eventually, we ended up in a taxi and travelled for about three hours to reach our destination,” one of them complained.

The unnamed business class traveller recounted that he was initially on board a flight from Shanghai to Xining city in Qinghai province, which took off at 11.15am last Thursday.

However, the aircraft had to make a landing about two hours later at Lanzhou city due to bad weather.

Lanzhou is about 200km from Xining.
