'Bersatu Six' to retain seats, says Parliament Speaker

KUALA LUMPUR: The six former Bersatu MPs will retain their seats, says Parliament Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul.

The decision was relayed to the Bersatu leadership on Wednesday (July 10).

Party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he was disappointed with the decision and claimed that the Speaker had misinterpreted the Federal Constitution.
