Kota Kinabalu Bomba removes tree that fell on lorry and car


KOTA KINABALU: Firemen removed a fallen tree that hit a lorry and a car along Jalan Tuaran Bypass here.

A call came in at 5.34pm on Monday (July 15) alerting them of the incident, said a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman.

He said no one was hurt in the incident.

"A team of 10 firemen from Lintas was sent to location, assisted by Civil Defence Force personnel on site.

"The tree, which fell on a three-tonne lorry and a car, it was removed with chainsaws.

"After ensuring there no more risks, the operation ended at 6.32pm," the spokesman said.
