Cops probe viral video of construction site brawl in Johor


KULAI: Police are tracking a group of men believed to be labourers after a short video of them brawling at a construction site in Sedenak here went viral on social media.

Kulai OCPD Supt Tan Seng Lee said that police saw a 28-second video on X, formerly Twitter, at around 4.30pm on Monday (July 15).

“The video recorded a group of men fighting with one another believed to happen at a construction site in Sedenak here. Checks found that no one lodged a police report over the incident.

“The police urged the video original owner or any public witnesses that have information about the incident to come forward and lodge a report at the nearest police station or contact Kulai police hotline at 07-6632222 to help with the investigation,” he said here on Tuesday (July 16).

Supt Tan added that the case was being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code and efforts were underway to find those involved in the fight.
