Fama records total sales of RM1.2bil in first half of 2024

KOTA BHARU: The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) recorded total sales of RM1.2bil from various programmes held nationwide up to June this year.

Its chairman Aminuddin Zulkipli said that with this figure, Fama is confident of achieving the remaining RM800mil needed to reach its RM2bil sales target for 2024 by the end of this year.

"The Agro Madani sales programme has been one of the highest contributors, generating approximately RM80mil through 4,102 sales series, along with the Fama Fest and other Fama sales branches,” he told reporters after officiating the Fama Fest here on Friday (July 26).

He said that Fama Fest which began in 2017 had recorded RM24mil in sales with the participation of 2,180 entrepreneurs up until last year.
