CONTENT creator Agy has faced various challenges online, including cyberbullying and scams, Harian Metro reported.
Agy, whose real name is Muhammad Affizy Mohd Khairy Rajan, said his status as a known individual makes him an accessible target for criticism, especially in the comments section.
“To this day, I continue to receive all sorts of criticism, with some even questioning my talent on social media.”
Agy, 29, remains optimistic, acknowledging that there are still individuals who recognise his value and continue to offer him employment and compensation, despite the presence of negative remarks.
He also recounted the story of how he lost RM3,000 after lending a helping hand to someone in need.
After that experience, he has become cautious when it comes to placing his trust in others.
“Earlier this year, I received an email from someone claiming to be a representative of a famous fashion brand.
“I received an offer to upload paid review content to social media.
“Luckily, I discovered it was a scam when I was asked to pay about US$2,000 (RM9,328) to get the offered product,” he said.
> The Minyak Sawit episode in the Upin & Ipin animation, which was uploaded on July 20, garnered nearly four million views within 48 hours on YouTube and may soon be available on Netflix, Kosmo! reported.
Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani said negotiations were ongoing for the animation to be purchased by the streaming giant.
The initiative is part of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council strategy to educate schoolchildren on the benefits of palm oil.
“This is one of our strategies to counter anti-palm oil propaganda, not only at the purchasing level.
“It is crucial to impart this knowledge to school students.
“I will try to secure permission for it to be shown in our schools,” Johari said.
