PETALING JAYA: A woman is seeking the help of social media users to find the man who helped her when her car broke down near the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) recently.
The woman who goes by the account name @shqn.s on TikTok said the man's kind act had left a lasting mark on her and added that she hopes the public will help to identify him.
"Please help find this uncle? It was a day I will forever remember.
"(I was) crying and shaking in panic. Girls, no matter how well you make an income you must know how to manage a broken vehicle. Don't be like me, panicking when not knowing what to do with others honking due to pressure," she said.
"Thank God, all is safe. In a country where there are various issues, comes a person who is kind. Uncle, where are you," added @shqn.s in the 56-second video that was posted on Thursday.
She said that her car had stopped by the highway when the brakes jammed and also said that the car was showing various warning signs during the incident.
Other cars were honking at her for obstructing traffic and she was in a state of panic.
The man then came to offer help and took the risk of helping her drive her broken car to safety while she drove his.
After parking at a safe spot, he returned her vehicle and left before she managed to get his contact details
The video has since gone viral with over two million views and over 200,000 likes.
Meanwhile, social media users have identified a possible candidate with some saying that the "uncle" is from Cheras with a birthday in August.
However, this has yet to be verified.
