Fire engulfs three furniture factories in Sungai Buloh


PETALING JAYA: Three furniture factories in Kampung Baru, Sungai Buloh, were engulfed in a massive fire.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the incident occurred at about 12.20pm on Sunday (July 28).

"Firemen from nine fire stations were deployed to the scene.

"One of the factories was 100% destroyed while the remaining two factories were 60% damaged," he said in a statement on Sunday.

No one was hurt during the incident, he said.
