Woman killed, man injured in Pandan Indah flat fire


AMPANG: A woman was killed and a man was injured when a Pandan Indah flat caught fire on Saturday (July 27) night.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the incident occurred at about 9.46pm on Saturday at a Taman Lembah Maju flat.

"The fire occurred on the ground floor of a five-storey flat in Taman Lembah Maju.

A woman suffered 80% burns and died from her injuries while a man suffered burns on his right hand.

"The man was sent to Ampang Hospital for treatment," he said in a statement.
