Couple killed in four-vehicle road collision


KUALA TERENGGANU: A trader and his soon-to-be fiancee were killed in a four-vehicle road crash on Jalan Kemajuan near here.

Kuala Terengganu District Police Chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor identified the couple as Muhammad Haniff Idham Mohd Azmi, 24, and Nurshabirah Izzani Zulkarnain, 22, both from Kuala Terengganu.He said a four-wheel drive vehicle crashed into the rear of the couple’s car on Saturday night.

Muhammad Haniff Idham, who was driving, lost control and the car skidded and veered into the opposing lane. It was then hit by a sport utility vehicle (SUV).

Another vehicle trailing the SUV was also involved in the crash, Bernama reported.
