Secondary school student missing since Sunday, say Muar cops


MUAR: A secondary school student has been reported missing here since Sunday (July 28).

Muhammad Effzaldanish Mohd Effendy, a 14-year-old student of SMK Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah 1, was said to be wearing his school uniform when he was reported missing.

According to a statement by Muar OCPD Asst Comm Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz, the victim has since been uncontactable.

The student’s last known place of residence was stated as No. 15, Jalan Kerayong Rumah Rakyat 1, Pagoh, Muar, added ACP Raiz.

A social media post of the missing person by one Jaja said Muhammad Effzaldanish was last seen walking to his school near here at 7.10am, Sunday.

“Those with information are urged to contact Insp Seventy Panner Silvan at her mobile number 011-16251909, the Muar Police District hotline at 06-9564800 or the nearest police station,’’ said ACP Raiz Mukhliz.
