Muar cops: Missing teen found


MUAR: A secondary school student reported missing since Sunday (July 28) was found by his family members here on Wednesday (July 31).

Muar OCPD Asst Comm Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said the 14-year-old student of SMK Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah 1, Pagoh here was found at around 10am Wednesday.

Muhammad Effzaldanish Mohd Effendy was wearing the school uniform when he was reported missing while walking to his school.

“We have brought him to Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital for medical inspection and doctors confirmed he is in good condition and healthy,’’ he said in a statement.

ACO Raiz Mukhliz said Muar Police District thanked Pagoh residents, local communities and netizens for their efforts in tracing down the missing teenager.

“We would like to remind the public to refrain from making any speculations and investigation of the case is ongoing,’’ he said.
