Viral video captures SUV speeding with motorcycle lodged underneath it in Rawang

PETALING JAYA: A motorist continued driving his SUV with its tyres missing and a motorcycle lodged under it near Taman Velox, Rawang, on Thursday (Aug 1).

It was alleged that the car crashed into the motorcycle moments earlier.

A video of the incident, posted by a social media user on Facebook, showed the SUV speeding off with a shower of sparks emitting from the motorcycle lodged underneath its front bumper.

Although the car’s right front tyre was shredded, exposing the wheel rim, it did not deter the driver, who continued to speed away, believed to be in a bid to escape.

Another car and a motorcyclist were also spotted tailing the SUV in the video.

According to the Facebook posting, a man who was riding the motorcycle escaped serious injury after he managed to jump to safety after being hit by the SUV.

Further details on the case are yet to be known, as Selangor police have yet to respond to media enquiries.

Those with information on the case should contact Selangor police at 03-5520 2222.
