A COUPLE who had recently tied the knot took a daring chance as they narrowly avoided a collision with a train while posing for a photograph on a railway bridge in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, reported Kosmo!
In a video shared by @yahobravo on TikTok that has since gone viral, the couple were seen standing on a bridge, surrounded by a flurry of photographers eager to capture their precious moments.
A train then emerged into view, its horn blaring a warning as it approached the newlyweds.
The train was forced to halt its engine to avoid a potential accident as the couple was slow to move.
The incident is believed to have happened at the Guillemard Railway Bridge, a focal point for photography enthusiasts due to the unique design.
Social media users are expressing their frustration over the situation, which poses a danger and creates problems for Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB).
“Hope the authorities take action ... I think it’s trespassing,” Kamarul commented.
“You just held a wedding function; you don’t want to do tahlil next,” commented Joe.
“Do you need to get to the middle of the railroad line? ... Value your life,” commented Ecah.
> The late Jay Jay’s wish to buy a new vehicle was not fulfilled. He died, age 67, while in hospital on Sunday night, Berita Harian reported.
His youngest child, Nur Camelia Mohd Fauzi, 28, said the deceased wanted to own a luxury brand vehicle after leaving hospital.
“We just nodded in agreement. I never thought that would have been his last request,” she said when met at the Al Husna Mosque in Bandar Sunway, yesterday.
Nur Camelia described the legendary singer of the famed group Carefree as an exemplary father and a true artiste, adding that he loved his family and grandchildren very much.
She added that Jay Jay was keen to perform, even when his health was poor due to longstanding heart issues.
“Alhamdulillah, I was able to be by my father’s side towards the end, where he told me to take care of my mother,” she said.
About 200 family members, relatives and friends paid their last respects to Jay Jay before the burial at Bukit Tandang Cemetery, Subang Jaya, yesterday.
