MUHAMMAD Akhir Abdul Aziz is not letting his physical condition be a hindrance. Despite being disabled, he earns up to RM2,500 monthly by selling groceries on a three-wheeled motorbike, Utusan Malaysia reported.
The 40-year-old, who began doing this about three months ago, said he chose this route as he wanted to live more comfortably and not solely rely on his Welfare Department allowance.
Muhammad Akhir said he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition causing his head to be bigger than others, and also underwent operations multiple times during his younger years.
“I get an allowance of RM450 monthly but I’m more comfortable with finding additional income to support myself,” said Muhammad Akhir, who trades in Sungai Rengas and Pengadang Baru, Kuala Terengganu.
> Social media star Wee Yun Nee, better known as Mek Yun, was left stunned after being offered to be the second wife of a family man, Kosmo! reported.
The 27-year-old said she was initially approached by a woman who asked for a photo with her, with the latter then “proposing” this.
“I was asked by the lady whether I wanted to be the second wife of her husband while pointing to her husband and their two children,” she was quoted as saying.
Mek Yun, who shot to Internet fame for her fluency in the Kelantan dialect, treated the incident as a joke.
“I didn’t know how to react. I just laughed while shaking my head,” she said.
