Tech collaboration to boost Malaysia's blockchain infrastructure announced


PETALING JAYA: MyEG Services Berhad (MyEG) collaborates with Mimos Berhad (Mimos), the Worldcoin Foundation and Tools for Humanity (TFH) to augment the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI).

The partnerships seek to increase the nation’s adoption of blockchain technology in credential verification.

In a statement on Saturday (Aug 17), MyEG said it would incorporate technology developed by MIMOS Berhad, Worldcoin Foundation, and TFH into existing government service delivery systems.

It said that the collaboration is expected to increase innovation, generate employment and improve the nation’s economy.

It also said that the move represents a step forward in Malaysia's digital journey.
