Italian man nabbed for allegedly shoplifting from KLIA pharmacy


SEPANG: An Italian man had been arrested after allegedly shoplifting from a pharmacy in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2.

When contacted, KLIA OCPD Asst Comm Azman Shariat said that shop workers were notified of the incident that took place on Monday (Aug 19) after reviewing CCTV footage.

The footage allegedly shows the suspect taking two boxes of medication and leaving the shop without paying.

"The stolen items worth RM75.42 were recovered. The suspect, a 58-year-old Italian man, has been remanded for three days," he said.
