Shanghai-bound Malaysia Airlines flight forced to turn back to KLIA

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines flight MH386 was forced to turn back to KLIA on Tuesday (Aug 20) night due to a cabin pressure issue.

The Shanghai-bound flight experienced issues shortly after departing from KLIA Terminal 1 at 9.14pm, reported Astro Awani.

FlightRadar showed that the plane, an Airbus A330-300, declared a general emergency soon after take-off.

It descended to 10,000ft (3,048m), indicating a possible cabin pressure problem, before landing safely at KLIA after 70 minutes in the air.
