ACTRESS Puteri Sarah refused to talk about her ex-husband, director Syamsul Yusof, after he filed for divorce from his wife, Faghirah Fatini Kazaruddin or better known as Ira Kazar, Kosmo! reported.

“Hopefully, their affairs are eased,” she said.

Puteri Sarah, whose full name is Puteri Sarah Liyana Megat Kamaruddin, 39, said she was not in a position to comment on things that did not involve her.

“I just returned from a business trip in Singapore. If possible, I don’t want to comment anything because it does not involve me and is not my business. I don’t want to say much. What will people say if I do and I already have my own life? I’m happy in my own way. What I can say is that I hope their affairs will be eased. That’s it,” she said.

Meanwhile, the daily also reported that Malaysians left online comments on Puteri Sarah’s Instagram account and urged her not to return to her ex-husband.

“Rejoice, Sarah, indeed kifarah (karma) happens to those who wrong good people,” said a follower.

“Congratulations, Sarah. You won,” commented another.

“Kifarah is right. The wronged, the patient, will find happiness,” said another follower.

According to reports, Syamsul, 40, filed for divorce at the Syariah Court in Gombak Timur, Selangor, at 2pm on Monday.
