Selangor State Secretary Office's bus skids and lands in drain, 21 injured


KUALA LANGAT: More than 20 people were injured after a Selangor State Secretary Office's bus plunged into a drain near Kampung Kelanang, Tamai Dawai Banting.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the incident occurred at about 1.18pm on Wednesday (Aug 21) when the bus driver tried to avoid a motorcycle.

The bus driver and his co-driver were from the state secretary's office, while the remaining 19 passengers were from Selangor Court.

Six individuals, including the bus driver, suffered serious injuries, while 15 others had minor injuries.

The bus driver was trapped in the vehicle but was rescued.

All injured victims were sent to Banting Hospital for treatment.
