Young innovators score success

PUPILS from SJK (T) Ladang Tebrau in Johor won seven medals in an international innovation competition, Makkal Osai reported.

The event, held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in Batu Pahat, saw hundreds of young innovators from around the world presenting their work.

School headmaster Rajammal Subramaniam said that a herbal soap developed by the pupils received a gold award and a special award in the health category.

A soil improvement additive for farming made from cattle waste received a silver medal and a special award in the agriculture category.

In total, the pupils received two gold, two silver, and three special awards, making the school very proud, she said.
