KUALA LUMPUR: The search and rescue (SAR) operation for a female Indian national who fell into a sinkhole on Jalan Masjid India here enters its third day on Sunday (Aug 25) following its suspension on Saturday (Aug 24) night due to a lack of new leads.

Operations began at 8am.

Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said the rescue teams had conducted searches in six sewer manholes around the area and at the Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) sewage plant in Pantai Dalam.
