Mysterious guide cat of Gunung Bunga Buah

A FLUFFY cat turned hiking “tour guide” at Gunung Bunga Buah in Selangor has captured the hearts of Malaysians online, reported Kosmo! In multiple videos uploaded by TikTok user @hazwan_r, the climber said he found the white cat over seven kilometres into his climb in the middle of the forest.

The thing that has puzzled many online is the cat’s seemingly clean and healthy look despite no caretaker for it ever being found.

“The mysterious cat of Bunga Buah Mountain. This cat became our ‘guide’ for about half of the climb down before he then turned back to go back to the peak,” wrote the climber.

Many other fellow climbers have since shared their sightings of the same cat in other trails along the mountain, which has created a sense of mystery surrounding the cat’s origin.

> Despite being in the prime years of his life, a 29-year old man from Parit, Perak, now faces a bedridden life after parts of his skull had to be removed following a severe stroke two years ago, the daily also reported.

Former technician Mohd Sobrie Ramli said the stroke had paralysed the right side of his body, which made doing basic movements such as walking, eating and even talking difficult.

“I can’t even sit up for more than five minutes before feeling light headed and needing to lie,” he said.

Mohd Sobrie also feels a sense of guilt towards his 37-year-old wife, Farah Wahida Zabidi, who now bears the responsibility of caring for their two children.
