Seremban cops seek public's help to find missing Form Two student

SEREMBAN: Police are looking for a 14-year-old boy who went missing from his school in SIkamat near here on Tuesday (Aug 27).

Form Two student Qayzikri Hazimi reportedly left the school and efforts to locate him have been futile.

Seremban OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Hatta Che Din said the boy was last seen wearing sports attire.

"The story about the missing boy has since gone viral on social media.

"We also received a report from a school teacher at around 5pm Tuesday that the boy had been missing since 10.30am and efforts to find him on school grounds and the hostel had been unsuccessful," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Aug 28).

He said Qayzikri was last seen by a classmate leaving his classroom with his bag. The boy then went to the hostel but was not seen after that.

ACP Hatta said police have launched an investigation and the case has been classified as a missing person report.

He said anyone with information on the student's whereabouts should contact investigating officer Sjn Shahrul Azhar Hamdan at 014-3434007.

The boy's parents have also taken to social media to appeal to the public to help find their son.
