Missing Form Two student found safe in Senawang

SEREMBAN: A Form Two student reported missing from his school near here has been found, says district police chief Asst Comm Mohamad Hatta Che Din

He said Qayzikri Hazimi was found at a barber shop in Taman Widuri in Senawang around 3pm on Wednesday (Aug 28).

"He is fine. The student had sought shelter at a nearby surau and was found at the barber shop by family members," he said in a statement.

ACP Mohamad Hatta said the student and his family members would be called in to have their statements recorded.

He also thanked the public for helping the authorities to look for the boy.

A teacher had lodged a report about 5pm on Tuesday about the missing boy.

The teacher said Qayqikri had been missing since 10.30am on the same day and efforts to find him on school grounds and the hostel had been unsuccessful.

Qayzikri was last seen by a classmate leaving his classroom with his bag. The boy then went to the hostel but was not seen after that.

The boy's parents also took to social media to appeal to the public to help find their son.
