Mohd Ali Tamby appointed acting Kelantan police chief

KOTA BARU: Deputy Kelantan police chief Deputy Comm Mohd Ali Tamby (pic) has been appointed acting Kelantan police chief with effect from Thursday (Aug 29).

He replaces Comm Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun, who has retired.

The handing over of duties ceremony was held at the Kelantan Police Contingent Headquarters on Thursday, witnessed by Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.

In his speech, Razarudin thanked Comm Zaki for his service and contributions to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). – Bernama
