Crowd favourite ‘Abang Bomba’ steals the limelight at National Day parade

PUTRAJAYA: Crowd favourite ‘Abang Bomba’ has some serious competition for fame with “Abang JPJ” and “Abang Askar” vying for attention.

Still basking in the limelight for the third consecutive year, these ‘abang’ don’t fail to impress with their muscular physique and stunning smiles.

The presence of these men drew shrieks and calls from the crowd, saying, “Belanja bicep bang” (show us your biceps) and “Tembak saya Abang Askar” (shoot me soldier).

Before the parade started, there were already queues to snap pictures with ‘Abang Bomba’.

One of them was 25-year-old Aliff Daniel who said that this was his first time in the parade.

“I joined because I wanted a moment to share with my friends and participate with my fellow muscular colleagues.

“This is my second year in service as a firefighter, and I have had memorable experiences,” he said.
