JAKARTA: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof held a bilateral meeting on Friday (Sept 6) with Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan on the sidelines of the 2024 Indonesia Sustainability Forum (ISF 2024).

Fadillah, who is also the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister, along with a delegation that included Malaysia's ambassador to Indonesia Datuk Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin, had a 30-minute discussion with Luhut at the Jakarta Convention Centre.

Besides discussing topics on strengthening bilateral cooperation to enhance Asean relations, they also exchanged views on energy transition and water transformation matters.

"We are looking at how to expand cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia and help each other in the context of energy supply, renewable energy, and increasing collaboration in the Asean region,” Fadillah told the media.
