King receives courtesy call from former Indonesia vice-president Jusuf Kalla


KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, received a courtesy call from former Indonesian vice-president Muhammad Jusuf Kalla at Istana Negara on Tuesday (Sept 17).

A post on His Majesty’s Facebook page stated that the meeting lasted almost half an hour.

Also present was the Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara, Datuk Zailani Hashim.

Jusuf Kalla has served as Indonesia's vice-president twice - from 2004 to 2009 during president Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s administration, and from 2014 to 2019 under President Joko Widodo. – Bernama
