One killed, three seriously injured in multi-vehicle Seremban accident


SEREMBAN: One person has been killed and three others suffered serious injuries in an accident involving nine vehicles, including two lorries, near the Middle Ring Road here.

Seremban Fire and Rescue Department chief Deputy Fire Superintendent Mohammad Idris said firemen took two hours to extricate the body of a victim who was crushed when a lorry carrying stones fell on the vehicle.

He said the accident occurred around 1.30pm near the Middle Ring Road-Jalan Seremban-Tampin interchange.

"The accident involved nine vehicles, including two lorries," he said.

He said a crane was used to lift the lorry off the car so they could extricate the deceased's body.

He said they were still investigating the cause of the accident.
