Domestic tourism up nearly 24% in 2Q2024 but still shy of pre-pandemic levels overall, says Statistics Dept


KUALA LUMPUR: Domestic tourists are holidaying and spending within Malaysia more in the second quarter of 2024 compared with the same period last year.

But overall numbers are still shy of pre-pandemic 2019 levels, said the Statistics Department.
