RM10,000 for lewd video calls? I’ll pass, says actress

LOCAL actress Risteena was recently offered RM10,000 by a man trying to get her to engage in inappropriate activities on social media, Harian Metro reported.

The 35-year-old actress, whose real name is Nur Risteena Munim Ilyas, said she was initially offered RM3,000 by the man through a direct message on her Instagram.

“I want to offer something but it is something not so good.

“I actually want to video call... Only to view and not do anything else.

“I will pay RM3,000 for each video call. But keep this a secret between us,” read some of the messages revealed by Risteena.

Despite rejecting the offer promptly, the actress said she was shocked by the man’s persistence in repeating his offer and increasing the amount of money for a video call with her.

“Seriously, I will increase the offer to RM7,000. Only to see. Or RM10,000,” his message read.

Risteena, who is married to local actor Isa Khan, said this was not the first time she had received such messages from strangers.

> Actress Sasqia Dahuri has denied appearing in a steamy scene in her latest movie Tafakur to attract patrons to the cinema to watch the movie.

Sasqia, 39, explained that the scene, where she is clad only in a sarong, was an artistic choice added by the film’s director, Feisal Azizuddin.

“Although I am also a joint producer for the film, I want to stress that the scene was not aimed at promoting it.

“If you view the scene, there is no sexual element as an attraction,” she said, adding that the scene aimed to portray the disappointment of someone who had been betrayed.

She said this to Kosmo! when met at the premier viewing of the movie on Wednesday night.

She also said it was the first time she had acted in such a scene after 10 years in the film industry.

Initially, Sasqia said she was worried that the scene would not be approved or would be censored by the Film Censorship Board and National Film Development Corporation Malaysia but the scene was later approved.
