Sabah MCA prepared to face the state election, says Dr Wee


PETALING JAYA: Sabah MCA is prepared to face the state election together with Barisan Nasional, said Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"It has been four years since the Sabah government took office in September 2020 and we are ready in the interest of Barisan and a brighter future for the people of Sabah.

"The Sabah MCA state convention held today marks the conclusion of the party's state convention for 2024," said the MCA president on Facebook on Sunday (Sept 22).

Dr Wee also presented special medals as a token of appreciation from the party to Sabah MCA members who have been with the party for over 30 years and contributed significantly to its cause.

Others present were Datuk Abdul Aziz Julkarnain who represented Sabah Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Bung Mokhtar Radin and representatives of other Barisan parties, including MIC and PBRS.
